Small business marketing is not like a holiday in famiglia.Forse someone takes a family vacation this summer? Have your children or you do not remember what it was like when you were a child of a trip somewhere?
I still remember the family vacations as a boy grew up. Our famous trek across America in the family station wagon or RV rental, when the station wagon has become impractical. Now with my family, we have taken similar, but generally small viaggi.Sembra that one of the most frequently asked questions by a child – ‘Are we there yet?’ Or another favorite is, ‘How much longer?’ Even families flying to their vacation destination I’m sure you can relate.
What have they to do with marketing?
I think sometimes (perhaps many times), business owners can become like that child services for their marketing. Are we there yet? How much longer? You work on a website or a brochure, or go to networking events and send letters. Then you wonder when you’re going to start getting results. When does the fun? You know, the fun – when you start calling prospects and other related businesses and send it your way.
And much like the family holiday, which calls for continuous still or what we most often leads to unexpected stops or detours. You stop working on other things because there is so much to do and that is sometimes difficult to see how this campaign is going to work.
Marketing should not start and stop.
Most people say they understand, even if their actions say otherwise, that the campaign is an ongoing activity. Marketing is not like a vacation where you have a final destination and then you stop the trip because you’re there. Read the rest of this entry »
How many times have you surfed the Internet and noticed that most of the advertising e-zines and websites have published all around the pages? Flashing ads that are popping up and blocking your view are often difficult to eliminate. Some search engines and directories carry sponsors ads. Sometimes these ads sponsors can get in the way sometimes, but the announcement is too tempting not to check. If it were not for those sponsor ads, may not have created a specific website or existing businesses.
The two primary goals of sponsor ads are to raise awareness of a product, brand, or business and improve the company image or brand. These objectives are very important to the success of small businesses and their websites. To strive, small businesses need to spread the word about what products and services they have to offer in order to increase their profits. They also need to stay in communication with customers and potential customers on what they have and this is necessary. This can also mean having to send a newsletter via email. People like to know what’s out there that can benefit from. To achieve these two primary objectives, consider using sponsors ads to increase traffic to your website.
Use of sponsor advertising can be a great way to increase traffic to your website and encourage more purchases of products and services. Sponsors advertising has become increasingly popular among owners of Web sites, allowing companies to develop relationships with the online community, providing information and become a part of the online community. Many online business owners who are looking to promote their website may be happy to use sponsor ads to increase traffic to their website. More website traffic can mean more sales and higher profits. Sponsor ads can be freely bought, sold or exchanged. It all depends where you look, and if you are looking for opportunities for free or can afford to pay for them. It will also depend on where your business is financially and how you plan to invest in advertising or publicity. Read the rest of this entry »
The financial crisis has focused on various “actors”: banks, consumers and the government, large corporations and investment funds. But there is a group that until now has not received the attention it deserves, despite being the main source of employment in the country: small businesses.
Many of them only hire two or three employees and have important functions but sometimes invisible, it is these that are having great trouble getting credit.
The effect of the crisis on small business
This crisis is particularly harmful to small businesses for several reasons:
• They need credit to operate. Many large companies have credit lines because it facilitates the operations. Small businesses have them because they need them. Without that credit, the restaurant can not buy from their suppliers in the morning to sell food to customers in the afternoon.
• They have loans with variable rates. Many businesses also have lines of credit with variable rates that have risen sharply in recent months. A variable interest rate is generally calculated by adding a margin at a known rate (or a known rate index). An index which I have written about before is the LIBOR, which is set in London and is used in many contracts here. This rate has risen sharply in recent weeks. Many business owners are unaware that their credit lines are based on LIBOR, as soon see substantial increases in their quotas.
• They are risky. Small businesses are not attractive customers for banks because they represent a risk to lend money. Many have a minimum return and any changes in the economy can dramatically reduce the ability to pay of the company. More than 70 percent are companies that offer some type of service and utility companies often have no assets that serve as backup for the loan. For the manager of loans, requires the same effort (or sometimes more effort) to lend money to a small company (where they will earn little) that a large company. The list goes on. Next, you want to know exactly what the requirements for both lenders and credit bureaus. It is always useful to know what is required of you before undertaking any project of this type.
Finally, it will start making initial purchases for your business. Here is where you have to invest in your business, or individuals you know who is going to invest. According to information published by the Universidad Panamericana, 4 out of 10 micro and small businesses use personal credit card of its owner or owner to finance its operations. In other words, we are confusing business finances with personal finance. This is a serious error since, in general, personal credit cards tend to charge higher interest rates.According to Victor Calderon, co-director of ArCcanto (firm specializing in investment banking services for SMEs), there are cases where employers have 15 or 20 credit cards, which together account for a debt of 3 or 4 million pesos. These entrepreneurs do not have a credit line for your business.
Banks have launched a series of loan products designed to meet the short-term needs of small businesses. So there are already adequate credit lines for SMEs, available through credit card
This new product offering is divided into two categories: credit cards aimed at micro businesses, with loans ranging between 20,000 and 180,000 pesos, and those directed to small and medium-sized enterprises with credit lines ranging from 180,000 pesos, 3.5 and 10 million pesos, the bank said.

If, is the response that comes almost immediately, which can be applied to most businesses, especially small ones. Before we get into the ways that credit card companies are useful, try to understand what they are.
As a simple way, a credit card business is one whose owner is a corporation, not an individual. To understand this better, you can draw an analogy between business credit cards and bank comparing their benefits. Other than that, business credit cards work in much the same way as personal credit cards, with some differences, such as flexibility of the credit limit, low interest rates and any other additional benefits.
Business Credit Cards
Just for that reason, seem a good option. However, they also have other benefits. The biggest advantage has to do with the records of business expenses. For most small businesses, accounting can be very cumbersome. With this particular product, this matter is handled very easily, just make sure all your expenses for the business card and make their personal expenses in your business card. Thus, the corporate card bill will have all the expenses of the company, which will save the job of collecting receipts and walk separating what is personal data of what is an expense of the company. The key is to use the business card for all the possible costs of the company. Some providers aware of this present the card billing in a way that fits for business accounting. Most often grouped expenditure so as to facilitate accounting. Some systems even bother to show invoices in a format that can be compatible with computer accounting systems, what you do not have the need to change your account information manually. In the event that the bill is presented in a format that is incompatible with that of your accounting system, you can hire a technician to do a small program that converts the information to the format required.
